IPL players

IPL is the most exciting format of the cricket and has nowadays become a big hit in India. IPL is nothing but Indian premier league and it is 20-20 cricket format game created by Board of control for cricket in India (BCCI). Its first season stared from 18th April 2008 and ended on 1st June 2008 with an incredible victory of Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super kings.

As by the laws of the cricket game, this format has emerged as most distinguishable forms of game played any where in the world. IPL has already achieved a fancy name for itself which is rightly said as “The Million Dollar Baby”.

Team formation

There where eight teams that participated in IPL and the first players’ auction were held on 20th February 2008. IPL select players by biding but it placed icon states for some selected marquee Indian players known as icon players and these players were placed as captain in their respective team. They where paid twenty percent more money than all the other players in their team. For the second season, auction where also held but at this time free signings was placed by the franchisees known as draft like system, where the lowest ranked team were given first opportunity to sign the players .

Shan Warne:-It was almost incredible; to ruminate on the fact that he did not captained a single match for Australia but became so popular by his captaincy skill in IPL and became IPL champion in the year 2008 though in the second season of IPL his team loss. Still then he regularly impressed the crowd by his performance.

Kevin Peterson:-Not just because of the fact that he was bought at whopping 1.55 million $ but also for his charisma and fighting ability, he is one of the best player in this format.
