S Raman

S Raman is a table Tennis player from India. Raman used to be one of the fittest players in National Circuit. In 1993, Raman won his first National Championship in Goa. Then in 1999, he won another National Championship Title in Lucknow. At the 1997 Commonwealth, he teamed up with Chetan Baboor and won gold medal in the doubles table tennis. In 1995 at the SAF Games which was held in Chennai, Raman won Gold Medal at the singles event, silver in the Doubles and an another silver in mixed doubles. Raman is currently employed with the Indian Oil Corporation. He was also awarded the Arjuna Award.
